Search for Cosmic Parity Violation

The four-point correlation of galaxies can reveal parity violation generated at the beginning of the Universe. Our first analysis of data from BOSS is intruiging: arXiv 2206:03625

This was the culmination of work that began with an investigation of isotropic n-point functions and their algebra arXiv 2010.14418.pdf.

We realized that some isotropic four-point functions were parity-odd and proposed a search in large-scale structure for parity violation arXiv 2110.12004

In 2000 I wrote a piece about the purported dangers of cell phones, which was published in the San Francisco Chronicle.

X-ray Imaging

I have worked with Dave Nygren and his team on the development of an x-ray imaging system, based on silicon strip technology. This work grew out of detector development for the Superconducting Super Collider: it is a real spin-off. I have written a few short notes on related topics.

Azimuthal Dependence in Leptoproduction
